Holly Thompson

Holly is a third-year law student at Vanderbilt University Law School. During her first summer as a law student, she worked as an intern for Federal Magistrate Judge Alistair Newbern and as a legal intern with International Justice Mission’s field office in Bolivia. She worked as a Douglass Fellow during in her second year of law school. During summer 2018, Holly was a legal intern in the Civil Rights Division’s Criminal Section at the Department of Justice. Holly wants to secure a position first in public interest litigation and later in systemic reform work to address the injustice of violence against the most vulnerable people and communities. Holly is especially interested in combating forced labor both domestically and internationally.
