HTI Director of Legal Engagement Provides Insights on Human Trafficking in Supply Chains for Security Magazine

Security magazine recently interviewed Director of Legal Engagement Lindsey Roberson about mitigating risks of human trafficking in supply chains. Lindsey shared insights for companies about proactive identification of possible labor trafficking and prevention of trafficking through supply chain transparency. The article provides recommendations for businesses looking to prevent forced labor being used to create their products.

“It’s about awareness and transparency in the supply chain,” Lindsey said. “Organizations can look at everything from recruitment to training, labor and safety and make sure that it is all well-vetted and well-documented, so you don’t expose yourself to liability or allow for the appearance of exploitation.”
